What Is GDPR?

The EU is introducing a regulation -GDPR -the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - to strengthen data protection for everyone within the EU.

GDPR is good news for customers. It makes it easier for you to access your personal information and control how it is used.
 

Why And How Do Envirostore Collect My Information, & How Is It Used?

The only personal information Envirostore collect and keep, are the warranty card details which end user customers send to us (**sometimes sent to us by your installer), this is a hard copy ONLY source of information, which is sent to our P.O. Box address and in turn is kept in a secure lockable environment, only accessible to our assigned Date Protection Officer.

We DO NOT keep a data base of any customer information whatsoever on any computer system, and we DO NOT share any information with any outside sources or individuals whatsoever.

(**In the event of others completing or taking your warranty information, (The Installer for example), you are advised by Envirostore to request that individuals or operations GDPR policy, as Envirostore cannot be held responsible for personal information given to individuals or companies outside of our control. Envirostore advise customers to forward personal information directly to us in a sealed envelope.)
 

What Happens In The Event Of A Warranty Issue With My Product?

You contact us by telephone and report any issues directly to us as instructed on the warranty booklet, or to your original installer, who in turn will contact us directly with your permission.

In the event of outside individuals or organisations needing to be contacted in relation to your warranty issue by Envirostore, we will first ask you to confirm that it is in order for us to do so, and we will NOT pass on any information whatsoever without your written consent.
 

If I Communicate With You By Email Or Via Your Web Site, What Happens To My Email Address?

Your query is answered by us with a direct email reply back to you, and this could be from our Envirostore email, or indeed our UK based operatives email directly. All emails are confidential, and email address details are NEVER passed on to any outside sources without your permission, and once your particular query is dealt with, your email is deleted.

Our email systems are protected by the latest software, and our website is hosted by Webglu Limited.

Data relating to online enquiries captured on the website is stored in mail account on the same server. The server is located in Manchester UK hosted by Layershift Limited.

How Long Do Envirostore Keep My Details?

Your hard copy information is only kept on secure file until the expiry of your warranty on the product you have.

Once the warranty period is over, (Max of 10 years on Bunded Tanks), your information is securely and permanently destroyed.
